Over the past two months, I was called to two different homes at the top of the hill in Kensington for comprehensive energy audits. 6 Gas Leaks later, I'm beginning to wonder what is going up on the hill? I think the old home's gas lines are rigid pipes, but when the homes settle over time, the pipes slightly bend at the seams, so leaks naturally develop. Two of the leaks were major events near the PG&E meter, but the rest were inside the home near various mechanical appliances.
